While beginning my initial foray into online social social networks, I decided to be sociable and followed a few links to an interesting site, 'yet another f*$#&@! learning experience' ( http://www.yafle.com/archives/2005/06/the-futility-of-explicit-knowledge-or-how-to-make-a-pbj/). Michael Jones has posted a couple of interesting things, including the specific one linked here concerning tacit and explicit knowledge. He was spurred on to writing based upon a post from Denham Grey on the same subject.
Of interest are Michael's thoughts on tacit vs explicit knowledge, context, and how explicit systems are easier to develop and sell. Yet, they would not be as beneficial as a great tacit system. Cool article - called, The Futility of Explicit Knowledge: Or, How to Make a PB&J.
But what I thought was more interesting than that about Michael's site was that he just recently posted a list of 101 things he wanted to accomplish in 1001 days. Michael was taking on the popular blogging activity of writing 100 things about oneself, and he very nicely turned the tables, describing 101 things that he wants to accomplish in the next 1001 days. The future and where someone is going is far more interesting than who they are (IMHO)...sorry. Great post.
I'm not sure I could easily do that.
